Angela Edwards Joins Wahlquist
A native of central Georgia, Angela and her husband Bryan are the owners of Aunt Zelda's Furniture in Macon and Warner Robins Georgia. Prior to opening Aunt Zelda's in 1995, Angela attended Georgia College and State University where she earned a B.B.A. in Marketing. It was during this time that Angela's leadership skills began to emerge. She served in many volunteer and leadership capacities including President of Phi Mu Fraternity. Because of Angela's continued dedication and work through the years with the university, the Georgia College Alumni Association selected her to receive the "Ethel Rae Mozo Stewart" community service award in 2010.
It was Angela and Bryan's dream to open Aunt Zelda's. Since opening in 1995, this unique and eclectic store has been featured in national industry publications. The business also received national sales awards from Norwalk for ranking in the top five stores inthe country. In 2008 the business received the prestigious "Conerstone Award."
Angela's efforts to serve the furniture industry have never gone unnoticed. For the past eleven years, she has served on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Furniture Association and in 2008 Angela served as President of the Association, becoming the second female President since the association's inception in 1954.
In addition to her passion for her family and business, Angela finds the time to support her community through volunteerism. Just a few of the many organizations of which Angela has worked and supported include Children's Literacy Coalition, Children's Hospital of Central Georgia, Macon Volunteer Clinic, Macon Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, Rotary Club and Leadership Macon Board.
Angela and her husband Bryan of seventeen years make their home in Forsyth, Georgia. Angela will join Wahlquist as a regional marketing consultant concentrating her efforts towards the Southeast region of the United States.

The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Seattle Seahawks on November 6th in Cowboys Staduim 23-13. After a slow start, the evening concluded with a victory for the Cowboys and guests. GREAT START BAD FINISH
The Cowboys started strong but gave it all back to the Lions in the 4th quarter. However, this did not deter from the great time the guests were having in the Wahlquist Suite. Once again the Wahlquist Suite was filled with excitement as everyone anticipated the day's festivities. Guests for the day included Charlie Cadrecha from Tampa Florida representing Rosehill and Discovery Furniture, Jason Long from Louisiana, representing Lane Furniture, Corliss Williamson and wife Michelle, Scotty Thurman and wife Regina, Marcus and Erika McCaroll, Randy Lann, Executive Director of the Arkansas Furniture Association and wife Cindy, Brad Lann, trooper with Arkansas State Police and wife Abbey, and special guests, Colonel Winford E Phillips, Director of the Arkansas State Police and his wife Linda.
Charlie, Robin, Jason and Mandy enjoy the company of former University of Arkansas greats, Corliss Williamson and Scotty Thurman. Both were superstars in the 1994 National Basketball Title Game between the victorias Arkansas Razorbacks defeating Duke University.

COWBOY VICTORY
On Monday evening, September 28th, Cowboy Stadium was the site for Monday Night Football, showcasing the Dallas Cowboy's vs. the Carolina Panthers. The evening concluded with a victory for the Cowboy's! Guests in the Wahlquist Suite included, Attorney General of Arkansas, Dustin McDaniel and his wife Bobbi, Bob Brenner and his wife, Snow of North Carolina, representing Coast To Coast, Lifestylesof California and Samuel Lawrence, Shawn Harris, Andy Perry, James Minchew, and David Sisk of Ashley Furniture, Randy Lann, Executive Director of Arkansas Home Furnishing Association and wife Cindy. The evening was highlighted by a visit from the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders!

AN EVENING FOR THE HISTORY BOOKS
On September 20th, football fans from around the world watched as the Dallas Cowboys played the New York Giants in the first regular season game of the inaugural season at the Cowboys Stadium. Wahlquist suite guests watched as former President George Bush and First Lady Laura Bush participated in the opening ceremonies! The game was a fight to the finish and enjoyed by all. Guests included, Jay Quimby, Vice President of Sales for United Furniture Industeries and wife Sherry, Bob Namoff and John Rodgers of United Furniture Industeries, Matt Craighan of Bassett Furniture, Jim Lambert of Symbol Mattress, and Dwight Hunter, Kevin Snyder and Mark Snyder of Berkline Furniture.
BIG NIGHT IN COWBOY STADIUM!
Excitement filled the air once again in the Cowboy Stadium on Saturday evening, August 29th as Wahlquist Management Corporation hosted another eventful evening in their "Ring of Honor" suite during the final pre-season game of the year between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers. Guest included Paige and Ben Streiff of Ashley Home Stores in Victoria, Kenedy, and Yokum Texas. Bob Baggett and son, Jeff Tinkle, Mitch Barclay, Duane Cousins and Bud Long of Meridian Upholstry and Hussain Rana, Sunder Rana, Ahsam Shaiqh and Sabrina Shaiqh of Wilhite Furniture in Weatherford, Texas.
HISTORIC OCCASION
It was a great day for Dallas Cowboy football fans on Friday evening, August 21st as the Dallas Cowboys played the Tennessee Titans in a pre-season game for the first time ever in the new billion dollar Cowboy Stadium! The evening was filled with excitement and festivities as Wahlquist Management entertained several guests in the Wahlquist Ring of Honor Suite. Those in attendance included Robin Prather, EVP of Wahlquist Management, Bill Hughes with Capital Bedding and his son William, Steven Thorn with Genisis and wife Jennifer, Kevin McDaniel with Ponderosa and wife Kim. The historic evening was concluded by a Cowboy win!
